TV SHOWS OF THE 80's!

On this week's "Retro Rarities Show" I feature TV stars who also had pop hits in the 80s.  As a matter of fact, I found so many songs, I had to make it TWO SHOWS!!!!  Every one of these songs are great "Cheez Wiz Classics" (I call them this because, like Cheez Wiz, you know it's not good for you, but you love them anyway)!  Unlike other songs by TV stars that were just plain awful cover versions, i.e. Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner doing AWFUL versions of Beatle's songs in the 60s, these actually charted and were "hip" during the 80s!  I guess we liked our TV stars singing as well. . . . .   Although, thank goodness, the Hulk Hogan single never took off. . . . .   Although somehow he got a show in 2007 that still runs today on VH-1.  Hmmmmmm. . . . . .

Hope you enjoy the hits of Bruce Willis, Don Johnson, Eddie Murphy, Jack Wagner, Julie Brown, and, of course, Rick Springfield.  And, go ahead and admit it, you loved the songs then, you love them even more now. . . .  Playing NOW on "Retro-Rarities"
