The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club has been bringing the Market Street Mile to Frederick since 1983!

Join us this September to run down Market Street into the heart of historic downtown Frederick.  You will end up in the center of Celebrate Frederick‘s “In The Streets” event.

For competitive runners: race your heart out!

For noncompetitive runners: Come out for the timed or untimed heats — either way it’s a lot of fun!

Mission

The Market Street Mile mission is to put on a quality race for the community while supporting Frederick area children in need.

All net proceeds are donated to our beneficiaries. Please see our Sponsorship page for information about this year’s beneficiaries.

• City Youth Matrix – Connect youth with opportunities to grow through extra-curricular activities.

• Lincoln Panther Running Club – The Lincoln Panthers running club, managed by the Frederick Steeplechasers, is a free after-school
  running club program hosted at Lincoln Elementary school for 2nd-5th graders.

About the Frederick Steeplechasers

The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club has been supporting runners, hosting races, and volunteering in the Frederick community since 1975.   We promote running as a fun and healthy activity, and welcome runners of all ages and abilities.

About the FSRC Grand Prix and Maryland RRCA Grand Prix

The Frederick Market Street Mile is a feature race for both the Frederick Steeplechasers Grand Prix series and the Maryland RRCA Grand Prix series.

If you are a member of a Maryland RRCA running club or DC Road Runners, please provide your club affiliation during the registration process.
