24/7 PRIDE Dance

24/7 Dance Studio’s PRIDE performing company students celebrate the company’s 18th anniversary by performing in 2 shows on Saturday, March 14, 2020. The Student Repertory Company is dedicated to serving the community by educating, performing, and promoting children in the arts. “24/7 PRIDE Dance Company Concert” will have two completely different shows, with a 1:00 PM matinee and a 6:00 PM evening performance. The performances will consist of group dances and solos, with styles in Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, and Ballet, which will appeal to dance and theater enthusiasts alike!
24/7’s PRIDE company consists of 80 children who are passionate about dance and the performing arts. The SRC is an award-winning, non-profit group with multiple levels. The company has attended and performed at Walt Disney World, “In the Streets”, MD Council for Dance Annual Festival, Mummer’s Parade, Art in the Park, Kris Kringle parade, Children’s Festival, and various conventions. Many members of the company have received scholarships from the MD Council for Dance, Optimist Club of Frederick, and the Frederick Arts Council, scholarships to attend summer programs and dance intensives, and college scholarships for the study of dance and theater in higher education, and several have gone on to perform and teach professionally.
