2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run to Benefit the Special Olympics

The Frederick Police Department will be hosting our annual Law Enforcement Torch Run. Our 2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics is being held on 5/31/19. The fun run/walk will take place on a 1.15-mile course through beautiful downtown Frederick and ends at Baker Park. At the finish line, we’ll have balloons, a DJ, and refreshments. What more could you ask for, I mean really?!
Registration is at 11 am in front of the Frederick County Courthouse and does not cost anything. We are selling commemorative 2019 Law Enforcement Torch Run t-shirts and hats. Both are $15.00 each and 100% of the proceeds are donated to Special Olympics Maryland.
This year will be bigger than ever as the City of Frederick has agreed to open the event up to their employees so that they can participate during their workday. Further, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office will also be joining us in our event.
