Candle Lights on the Creek

Hundreds of floating candles will sail alongside the Sailing Through the Winter Solstice Fleet from 9PM to 12:30AM this New Year’s Eve.
The event is located in Carroll Creek between Market and Carroll Street bridges.
Come down and celebrate the start of the 275th anniversary of Frederick County with the annual Key Drop!
Enjoy music, food trucks, and family fun as we ring in the new year!
