    Free

The recent 2024 legislative session saw a focus on policies around affordable housing, which is a growing problem across America. As these new laws begin to take effect, the elected officials of Maryland’s 3rd Legislative District are collaborating with the Department of Housing and Community Development to host a presentation on how this new legislation will impact housing affordability. District 3’s legislators are Senator Karen Lewis Young and Delegates Kris Fair, Ken Kerr and Karen Simpson.

This presentation will take place on October 7th in the Community Room of the C. Burr Artz Public library at 3:00 PM. The event will be limited to the first 100 registrants, as space is limited. To register, please email mdonald@senate.state.md.us.
