The Dust Bowl Book Launch at Gentle Giants Horse Rescue

Join local children’s book author Michelle Jabes Corpora and the people of Mt. Airy’s Gentle Giants Draft Horse Rescue for a book launch for Michelle’s new middle-grade novel in the American Horse Tales series: The Dust Bowl. A representative from The Last Word Bookshop will be there selling books, and Michelle will be signing and doing a couple readings from the book at 2 PM and 3 PM. Guests will also get a chance to meet draft horses Harlem and Jobe, two of the amazing rescue horses from Gentle Giants! Some food and drinks will be available, as well as wine available for purchase from the New Market Plains Vineyard. Donations to the rescue are encouraged in lieu of admission.
This family-friendly event will take place outside at the beautiful Wagon Wheel Ranch on the rescue property. Parking attendants will be available to help you find a spot on the property. Please RSVP to development@GGDHR.org. Book sales are first-come, first-served. Supplies are limited!
